Tru by Hilton: Norwalk, Iowa

Pro Commercial built Tru by Hilton Norwalk, an 83-room hotel in Norwalk, Iowa, on the south side of the Des Moines metro, as ground-up new construction totaling 42,008 square feet.

Building Tru by Hilton Norwalk to the brand prototype

Nearly everything visible on this building is brand prototype. The exterior color blocking, the entry canopy, the window rhythm and the public space package are all specified by Tru rather than chosen on site. Building a hotel to a prototype means the drawings are only half the job, because the brand reviews and approves the submittals and the finish package has to match what was approved.
